This collectible artist edition of 20 unique, hand-sewn works by the Trinidad-born, London-based contemporary artist Lisa-Marie Harris combines the sculptural reliefs in archival leather with the photographic film imagery shown for her debut UK solo exhibition RESPONSES (To things I've been told about my body), presented at Cooke Latham Gallery from June 2nd - 30th 2023.

Furthering the show's provocative rebuttal of the unrelenting body shaming, body policing, and sexual objectification faced by women, this artist edition creates an intimate experience of Harris' tactile and uncanny approach towards challenging the hyper-vigilant monitoring of women's bodies. The original photographic plates deepens this intimacy by presenting a layered and almost-transparent experience of the movements seen within her exhibited film work, Ritual of Parts (2021).
